Tagged - the 7 MeMe

I thought I fell through the cracks again and missed getting tagged for any meme's. But bakre ki maa kab tak khair manayegi ( for how long can the goat be safe? hehe it means at some or the other point , you do get slaughtered), and I got tagged for the 7 meme. And when it rains , it pours. Shammi and Ashwini tagged me for this one. And as shammi put it, she'd like to know more about me in bits of 7. I've sat down with this too many times and while I thought hazaaron khwahishein aisi ( thousand wishes such as these) , I found it pretty tough to put down 7 on the paper , or keyboard as it happens in this case. Any hoo, here goes.

7 Things to Do Before I Die:

1. learn to scuba
2. I usually plant trees in any place I happen to live. For once, I 'd like to see it grow and have the fruits .
3. Learn to dance elegantly and enjoy it without hurting other people in the process. Believe me elbows in the ribs and hair flying in the eyes is not pleasant.
4. Write a book that the readers can connect to and identify with.
5. Open a crafts store where I can sell things I make and learn to make newer stuff. Perhaps even have classes
6. Own a concept restaurant in some beach resort. You wake up , walk in the kitchen and make what you want to have with the help of the chefs offcourse. Kind of like a vacation for foodies.
7. And last not the least, I'd like to have the answers to all the pesky questions my mind comes up with. The questions are a blog onto themselves , so , some other time.

7 Things I Cannot Do (or things I do NOT enjoy doing)

1.Run
2. Tolerate toilet humor. I am a highly visual person with a wild imagination. Not pleasant with those kind of jokes
3. Feel at ease in humungous groups. I blend in pretty well with the wallpaper at shindigs like that.
4. Put up with hypocrites
5. Smoke cigarettes- specifically inhale. Stop smirking and remembering Clinton.
6. Understand how or why some people take such an instant and intense dislike to me. I mean what did I do to them . Oh whatever! not really likeable people anyways . :)
7. Religious fanaticism of any kind. You believe. Good for you. I can save my own soul, thank you.

7 Things that Attracted Me to Blogging

1. Blogging is first and foremost helping me to write.
2. I am not a techie, but like being able to play around with my template. So had to rack my brains and learn stuff.
3. Reading other blogs - I get to meet so many people online and interact with them. The exchange of ideas is very exciting, not to mention stimulating.
4. Being in Japan, a lot of information is available only in japanese, a language I don't read or write yet. Enter blogs. So much information available.
5. Food blogs- A huge bank of recipes, a new world.
6. Food blogs- My own repository of wacky stuff I cook up.
7. Its a way for me keep my memories.
